Empowerment and Advocacy

Ensuring every young person has the tools, knowledge, and confidence to exercise their rights and express their needs.

Individualized Care

Stable Housing can change lives

Stable housing plays a crucial role in supporting youth involved with the criminal justice system. By providing a safe and consistent living environment, we can help reduce recidivism and promote positive outcomes for these young individuals.
Our group home provides a safe, nurturing space where residents can focus on personal growth, education, and life skills development, giving them a solid foundation to achieve their goals.

Justice System Reform

Research indicates that over 70% of youth involved with the justice system have experienced trauma. However, it's important to note that this figure likely underrepresents the true scope, as many instances of trauma go unreported or undiagnosed. Trauma-informed care and support are essential to addressing the underlying causes of justice system involvement, helping youth rebuild their lives, and reducing the likelihood of recidivism.
At Unity in Community, we recognize the profound impact of trauma on youth and prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and understanding environment where healing and growth can take place.
